Ferdinad Foltan was born on the 24th of October in 1908 in Velke Uherce. He worked as a Roman Catholic priest in the 1952-1969 and 1983-1987 in Sulov. He devoted himself to amateur theater and farming. He had a cow. Ing. arch. Ferdinand Foltan helped people not only as a priest but also as an architect. He designated private and public buildings, for example: the house of culture in Jablonove. He also designated the building plans for a new Catholic rectory in 1967. He lived at the old rectory in Sulov. He died on the 25th of August in 1966, after a short stay at the Charity House in Beckov.
