The Common kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) is the most prevalent bird of prey species in rock habitats. It nests on inaccessible rock towers and niches of the rock walls. Often, it can be seen as it watches a prey. While they do this, they usually circle above rocks. It has rusty and brown color, which can be observed from above. It feeds mainly on small mammals such as voles, mice and also insects.
The silhouette of the Common raven (Corvus corax) looks like a cross. Lately, it occurs in large numbers in Sulov. On the contrary, its smaller cousin – Western jackdaw (Corvus monedula), which once nested in Sulov, is already very rare in this area.
